COACH EVALUATION
COACH EVALUATION
Barry is a unique multi-talented athlete. He can play any position on the field except catcher and he can take the mound and shut down opponents with his repertoire of fastballs, curve, circle change or slider. His coaches count on him at the plate too where he hit for (.444 this travel season). Whether it’s to drive in runs, advance runners or steal bases, Barry can be counted on. He grew over 6” from his sophomore to junior year and added 25 lbs. of muscle to his frame through an intense football weight training program. He is still catching up with his frame but has increased his strength dramatically allowing him to hit for power and knock .8 seconds off his 60 yard time, (7.0). At only 16 years old, Barry is one to watch. As a WR in football this junior year, look for him to continue on his speed and quickness. He is a great teammate, very well liked by players, coaches and teachers and is a rising star for the smart college who grabs this standout athlete. His father was a 4 year starter at the Ohio State University in football and his mother was a 3 year starter in softball there too.

Coach Evaluation
Barry had a terrific summer of American Legion ball. His work ethic is the best I have seen in my 30 years of coaching at this level. He is fundmentally sound and has skills you can't teach. He has been my utility player when he's not on the mound. As an infielder, his range is his strongest part of his game. His arm is strong and getting stronger as he matures. In college, he will probably be best suited as a shortstop but could be a starting pitcher if properly coached.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The key to a good player profile is to show a college coach your accurate information and update it and resend it to several college coaches on a regular basis.
Your academic information is just as important as your athletic information.
I advise you to have plenty of stamped enveloped on hand to send to coaches at all times.
Your profile should be sent with your skills video and you should have several envelopes for your videos as well.
Updates to your profile should be done anytime you have any new academic or athletic news to add.
